Anna Pierpan: has been a CNM since 2000 practicing in California and New Mexico.  Her midwifery education was completed with a Master of Nursing Degree from University of Miami in 2000.  She has a 5 ½ year old son and believe strongly in attachment parenting and birthing, having nursed my son for over 4 years.  Interests include family, creating gardens, the ocean, yoga, running, painting and writing.  My spare time is filled with establishing a midwifery model of care involving home and birth center care in Haiti.  My first children’s book, The Starfish, was illustrated and written while pregnant with her son and is set to be released later this year.
