 B.J.
has been a women's health care nurse practitioner since 1977. She
became a CNM in 1991. She holds a Ph.D. in nursing from the Oregon
Health Sciences University. B.J. is nationally renown for her work
in advancing midwifery care and assisting women in achieving their
desired birth experiences. Her expertise extends to the postpartum
period as a lactation specialist with years of experience helping
women initiate and continue breastfeeding their babies. She has been
the director of selected midwifery education programs, most recently
the University of Southern California.

 Lisa
has been a registered nurse for 24 years. She graduated from the nurse
midwifery and women's health care education program at the University
of Southern California in 1999. As a former labor and delivery nurse,
her desire is to assist women in achieving their desired birth experiences
through developing a trusting relationship with their health care
provider. Through this relationship, Lisa believes that a healthy
partnership develops between the childbearing family and CNM.
