Annual Women's
health examinations provide an excellent opportunity for you
to get acquainted with nurse midwives. In addition to Pap smears
and breast exams, we are available to help women make informed
health care decisions in such areas as family planning alternatives,
managing menopause, PMS and sexuality. |

The certified
nurse midwives at Beach Cities Midwifery and Women's Health
Care work collaboratively with Physicians so that should a complication
arise there is no gap in care. Physicians are available for
emergencies necessitating medical intervention such as cesarean
births, pregnancy complications, or gynecological procedures.
