Well-Woman Care
We welcome women of all ages to our practice for their well woman gynecology care. Annual examinations are recommended to assist women in maintaining optimum health. Once again, adequate time is provided to discuss health concerns and answer individual questions. During these visits, we will also thoroughly review your health history and perform a physical examination. Pap smears and other laboratory tests are performed as indicated. We can assist you in obtaining other related health care services such as mammograms, bone density testing, and laboratory tests such as cholesterol analysis.
Family Planning Services
Personalized and confidential family planning services are available. We will assist you in selecting a birth control method that is safe, effective, and tailored to the individual woman’s lifestyle. For adolescent or uninsured women, we offer a special, confidential family planning service at no cost to the woman.
Menopause Management
Many women today experience anxiety during the years that immediately precede menopause. Confused, afraid, and uncertain of how menopause will affect your life, it is important for a woman to establish a trusted relationship with a health care provider who can assist you in making decisions during this life transition. We will assist you in evaluating your symptoms, health care risks, and benefits of certain treatment options. An emphasis will be placed on lifestyle issues that can make this time in your life easier to manage.
As a woman continues to age, the midwives are available to provide continued well woman health care and support.
